My 'Sat in Quarantine' Travel Bucket List
We’re all sitting here thinking about the holidays we should be on right now…
So here is my list of the top places and attractions, sites, architecture and experiences I am adding straight to that bucket list ready for when it’s time to travel again!
1. South East Asia
Many of you may have already done this during your gap year and it is realistically the zone of the world people from the UK gravitate towards first however… This time last year Ash and I took our first trip to Asia for just under 1 month to Vietnam! It was amazing and ever since we came back we have been talking about our next BIG trip - SE Asia.
Indonesia - Bali, Lombok…Scuba Diving…
Singapore - The city my dad was born in!
Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur city, National Forests…
Cambodia - Angkor Wat…
Laos - Tree top climbing…
Thailand - Thai food and beaches, cultured Chiang Mai and crazy Bangkok…
Philippines - Island hopping madness…
2. Japan
I think it needs its own trip… It’s a vast country that is also very expensive. I want to have the cash to enjoy every experience possible there from Tokyo city to the highland mountain ranges.
3. Cuba
Go back in time within the country that froze with old fashioned cars and clothing styles. However this might be too restricted for UK tourists currently so maybe we’ll see how that goes for now…
4. Iceland
Get me in that blue lagoon under the northern lights.
5. Croatia
For Ash’s sake lets say its to see the filming locations for Game of Thrones…But the architecture in the Old Town of Dubrovnik look like they are amazing right next to the bright blue sea.
Anyway that’s only a few of the places that I would obviously love to travel to during my lifetime… but these definitely offer a bit of a range of cultures, designs and activities across the board!
Let me know if you’ve been to any of these places and what you would recommend! Where are you going to jet-set off to once isolation is over?
